The Punisher will crossover with Daredevil, a new set photo confirms. Karen Page meets with a rough-looking Frank Castle on a park bench. This image follows another one earlier this week showing Castle with the new bearded look.

Karen and Frank developed a sincere relationship over the course of Daredevil Season 2. She had empathy for Castle and was the one to discover his family was murdered by a suspicious sting-op gone wrong. Last we saw Karen, she found out Matt Murdock’s secret identity. We have yet to see her reaction on screen.

Considering Karen is the closest character to Frank in Daredevil, it’s not exactly a surprise she’ll be used across both shows. Karen also has a mysterious past and The Punisher is a great opportunity to find out more about the death of her brother. At the end of Daredevil Season 2, Karen found a folder on her desk. Inside was an old newspaper with the headline ‘Mystery Accident Causes Teen Fatality.’

Considering Karen and Matt were hooking up and he was lying about who he was the entire time, we can expect her to be in a vulnerable place in The Punisher. Frank Castle may be brutal, but he’s certainly a trustworthy friend if you’re on his good side.

Marvel has also officially announced Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Amber Rose Revah have joined the The Punisher cast. Read more about the casting announcement here.
