A new trailer for Project CARS 2 has leaked early, and shows off some truly amazing graphics for the upcoming racing game. Because this trailer isn’t the official version from developer Slightly Mad Studios, it could be taken down at any time. Make sure you see this as soon as possible.

Wow, where to start? Probably the most important part of the trailer is at the bottom, where it says the game is still a work in progress, but the video was made using in-engine footage. That means things should look similar when the game gets in the hands of players.

As for major car manufacturers, the trailer shows off some big names. The confirmed brands from the trailer include:

  • Ford

  • McLaren

  • Mini

  • Ferrari

  • Nissan

More are sure to be added, and there were probably a few we missed from the trailer. In terms of the game, we can see some dramatic weather and lighting effects, as well as some stunning cloth physics. Basically, this is going to be a beautiful game.

No release date has been given for Project CARS 2, but the developers are hoping to have everything ready to go this fall. Of course, game development can often result in delays, so it’s best to wait for a more concrete announcement from Slightly Mad Studios before getting too hyped.

So what do you think? Are you excited to see more from Project CARS 2? What other big racing games are you interested in for 2017? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
