The Power Season 3 release date is officially set for July 17. Ten hour-long episodes will take the Sunday 9 p.m. slot on Starz. Expect sex, guns, and lot's of drama if the new trailer is any indication of what’s to come.

In Power’s new season, Ghost is out of the game and Tommy and Kanan aren’t having it. The new trailer shows Omari Hardwick literally running for his life after Kanan (50 Cent) escaped his death in the Power Season 2 finale. Tommy feels betrayed since Ghost doesn’t care about the life they've been building since childhood. This means both Kanan and Tommy are out for Ghost’s head.
“Ghost has no idea how to just be James, and how to let go of his Ghost persona entirely. He doesn’t know how to go straight. The theme of the season is ‘Be careful what you wish for.’ But is there something within Ghost that keeps him from being that person he wants to be?,” showrunner Courtney Kemp teased to Entertainment Weekly.
