After the October CoroCoro leak that revealed two exclusive Z-Moves for Necrozma’s new forms in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, The Pokémon Company has released a brand new trailer showing off Necrozma Dusk Mane and Necrozma Dark Wings in action.

The Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon trailer confirms Necrozma’s form abilities, typings and Necrozma’s brand new attack.

Take a look at the brand new Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon trailer below.

Dusk Mane’s Sunsteel Strike becomes Searing Sunraze Smash, a powerful Steel-type attack. Dark Wing’s Moongeist Beam transforms into Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom, a more powerful Ghost-type attack. Both Z-Moves ignore the opponent’s ability. Necrozma’s brand new exclusive move is Photon Geyser, which compares the user’s Attack and Special Attack and chooses the highest one.

However, perhaps the biggest information from the new Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon trailer is the upgraded Rotom Dex. The CoroCoro leak confirmed the dex would receive new features to help trainers but we now have examples of what exactly it can do.

To unlock these new features, trainers will have to bond with the Rotom Dex by communicating with it. CoroCoro revealed that Rotom Dex will ask questions; if you answer them, you’ll build a relationship.

The Rotom Loto is a minigame that will unlock once you befriend the Rotom Dex enough. Pull the lever and you’ll receive a random item that will have similar effects to the O Powers introduced in Pokémon X and Y. Some of the items can repel damage, replenish HP, increase your prize money after battles, increase your relationship with your Pokémon, increase the rate at which eggs hatch and boost the encounter rate of higher level Pokémon.

The Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon trailer even showed Rotom Dex letting trainers use a Z-Move more than once in battle.

There may be more to Rotom Dex, but we won’t know until the games come out in November. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will release for Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 17.

So what do you think of the new Z-Moves? What about Rotom Dex’s new features? Sound off in the comments section below.
