The CoroCoro leak that revealed the nature of the Necrozma fusions has unveiled new information about Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

According to CoroCoro -- via Serebii -- Lycanroc will receive its own special Z-Move called Radial Edge Storm, which requires Lycanroc to know the move Stone Edge. Radial Edge Storm will also eliminate Terrain effects, which are staples of the Legendary Pokémon, the Tapus.

CoroCoro also confirmed all forms of Lycanroc can use the new Z-Move. So although Dusk Form Lycanroc is the new Pokémon, Midnight and Midday Form Lycanroc can still get a buff in the next Pokémon games.

Here’s the scan from the latest issue of CoroCoro showing Lycanroc performing Radial Edge Storm.

Dusk Form Lycanroc can only be obtained through a special distribution when Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are released in November but the Japanese magazine confirmed that the Rockruff that will be given away has the ability Own Tempo. This Rockruff ability is exclusive to this distribution and trainers can evolve it into Dusk Form Lycanroc when it reached Level 25 during the times of 5 p.m. and 5:59 p.m.

This new Lycanroc news comes a day after Necrozma’s fusion with Solgaleo and Lunala were officially given names and a bit of lore behind them. In this same issue of CoroCoro, we learned Necrozma can absorb the other two Legendary Pokémon: the Solgaleo fusion being named “Necrozma Mane of Twilight” and the Lunala fusion is “Necrozma Wings of Dawn.”

Both forms will still keep Solgaleo and Lunala’s signature moves, Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam, respectively.

Dusk Form Lycanroc is a mix of Midnight and Midday Lycanrocs in that it can learn the two attacks associated with them, Counter and Accelrock.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will bring new exclusive Z-Moves to the Alola Region. Komoo-o received an exclusive Z-Move and more were teased for Mimmikyu and Togedamaru during the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon reveal trailer but they have not been confirmed.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will release for Nintendo 3DS Nov. 17.

So what do you think of Lycanroc’s exclusive Z-Move? What Pokémon do you hope gets one? Let us know in the comments section below.
