Are you freaking kidding me? Pokémon Go servers are down Saturday morning and people are losing their minds. Of course, everyone knows about Pokémon Go's server instability, but come on, did it really have to land on a Saturday morning? There are people that planned their whole weekend around becoming the very best, like no one ever was.

Personally, I haven't even managed to sign in and a barrage of tweets from social media indicate that others are not enjoying better luck either. As of the time of writing, Pokémon Go has not shared a status update on Facebook or Twitter, no doubt adding even more frustration for the players.

On one hand, the Pokémon Go servers are probably down on a Saturday because, well, it's a Saturday and the game is overloaded by the sheer amount of people trying to log on at the same time. What's more, Pokémon Go just released in 26 countries in Europe, including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden and more. RIP to the servers, I guess.

On the other hand, after a week of instability, Niantic really has to get some new Pokémon Go patches and bug fixes out. That said, if Niantic is conducting server maintenance on a weekend, then that is beyond cruel.

Here's what people are saying on Twitter about the Pokémon Go server outage this morning:
