The Netflix original dramedy Orange Is the New Black is known for its comedic moments, but a new blooper reel from season 3 will keep you entertained with unscripted mishaps. The footage, which can be viewed below, shows messed up lines and the cast laughing during some of the show’s most dramatic moments.
In one part of the clip, actress Kate Mulgrew, who plays Red, gets into a giggle fit while delivering a dramatic line when her character returns to the kitchen.
“I’m back, bitch,” says Mulgrew before laughing. “I can’t do it. F--cking turn into Clint Eastwood in drag.”
In another scene, Lolly (Lori Petty) delivers a “yo’ mama” joke to Black Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore) when asked where her kosher lunch came from.
Earlier this month, Netflix announced it is renewing the series for three more seasons, with series creator and showrunner Jenji Kohan keeping her role for seasons 5, 6 and 7.
“Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things. In some cultures, ‘May you lead an interesting life,’ is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures,” said Kohan in a statement. “Here’s to keeping it interesting. Thanks, Netflix!
