The biggest victory from the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer was how many third-party developers were backing Nintendo’s new console.

Lack of t hird-party support and the lack of third-party content was one of the reasons the Wii U failed but it seems Nintendo has rectified that by bringing those companies into the fold and allowing them to make games for the Nintendo Switch.

Of the many third-party developers is Bandai Namco who pegs itself as the number one developer of games based on anime in the world. With a library that consists of the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm and Dragon Ball Xenoverse franchises, it’s hard to argue.

Bandai Namco has released this statement to iDigitalTimes regarding the Nintendo Switch.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment has enjoyed a long partnership of publishing and developing great titles for Nintendo systems. We want to congratulate Nintendo on their exciting announcement. We look forward to bringing both iconic franchises and new titles to Nintendo Switch.

The long partnership Bandai refers to are the many titles that have come to the Nintendo 3DS, including plenty of Dragon Ball games and not to mention Pokken Tournament for the Wii U.

As for future releases, Bandai is currently working on Tekken 7, Digimon World: Next Order and Tales of Berseria, which all come out in 2017 while Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization releases this winter.

Bandai is also bringing a few new IPs in Little Nightmares and Get Even to bolster its library of games.

So what do you think of Bandai Namco working with the Nintendo Switch? What games do you hope make the jump? Let us know in the comments section below.
