When the Nintendo Switch launched, gamers could only buy the console with no extras like games. All that looks to change, because a Nintendo Switch bundle with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been found online.
This information comes from the Nintendo Switch subreddit. Users on the site found the Nintendo Switch bundle available for purchase on the official Russian Nintendo site. Because the site is geolocked, the only way to view the link is to be in Russia or use a VPN.
There are two bundles available, one with the grey joy-con controllers and one with the neon controllers. Both are being sold for 25000 rubles (compared to 22500 rubles for a normal Switch and 3700 rubles for a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe). This means the bundle is roughly $45 U.S. dollars more than a regular Switch, so if this bundle comes to America, expect to see it for around $350.
The bundle seems to only include a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. There are no steering wheel accessories or additional controllers seen on the packaging. There could still be something else not reflected in the box art included though, so it seems best to hold off until an official announcement befpre getting excited or disappointed.
Speaking of, when will Nintendo officially announce this bundle? There's a Nintendo Direct scheduled for later today that would be the perfect time to make some waves. That being said, this could be held off for a little while longer. The Switch is in no need of a sales boost, seeing as how GameStop expects there to be inventory problems for the rest of the year.
