The upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has revealed a brand new Naruto game coming to the PlayStation 4. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is the Japanese title for this new game coming from Bandai Namco with the online components being the biggest draw.

Shonen Jump -- via Anime News Network -- describes Shinobi Striker as an "acrobatic ninja battle" game. Players can form four-person cells in multiplayer to fight against another four-person cell for a total of eight players.

Whether this is just a series of one-on-one matches or if this is a Call of Duty-style team mode is unclear, but how awesome would it be to run around the forest with your team looking for your enemies?

Just imagine if players can use kunai, shuriken and jutsu to take out opponents while taking advantage of the environments to help you hide from enemies or augment your jutsus (or using a lake to boost your water-style jutsu).

Shonen Jump also announced that the first three Ultimate Ninja Storm games will be released as a bundle on July 27 in Japan, so there will be plenty of Naruto fighting goodness this year. Shinobi Striker has no set release date but expect Japan to receive the game first before it comes to the West several months later.
