Netflix’s Punisher series has officially made headway, with its first casting aside from Jon Bernthal as The Punisher himself. Ben Barnes, who will star in the forthcoming HBO series Westworld , will star opposite Bernthal in an unnamed role.

Speculation persists Barnes will play Bobby Saint, a crime lord we met in the failed 2004 Punisher film, where he was played by James Carpinello. In the movie, Frank Castle kills Bobby Saint and his father, Howard Saint, played by John Travolta.

Unfortunately, that’s all the info we have on Barnes’ role, as Netflix has not confirmed his character’s identity. Previous rumors speculate Microchip, an ally to Castle, will get a role in the series as well. If you remember from the Daredevil Season 2 finale, Castle went back to his family’s old home to grab a CD labeled Micro. Considering Microchip is an expert hacker, he may be just the man The Punisher needs to find some answers about his family’s murders.

Netflix has not yet set a release date for The Punisher, though some rumors suggest the show could debut in 2017.
