Is there a particular cat in Neko Atsume that you’re struggling to see in your garden? You may not be the only one. Here’s what you can expect from some of the more difficult cats.

Many Neko Atsume players have trouble getting Frosty to show up in their garden, or miss him when he finally does show up. Outside of placing the right toys and food and having a little luck and patience, there’s not a lot else users can do to attract the snow-loving cat.

We recommend a combination of the Snowy Pillow and Sashimi or Delux Tuna Bitz. Other toys Frosty likes include the Silk Crepe Pillow, Bureau with Pot, Marble Pad, Blizzard Tent and Basket Case. Frosty isn’t a fan of Frisky Bitz, so think expensive when selecting a food for him.

Have you already gotten Frosty? Check out a few other difficult cats

In general, users may have trouble attracting or seeing most of the rare cats, which include Joe DiMeowgio, Guy Furry, Saint Purrtrick, Ms. Fortune, Bob the Cat, Mr. Mewogi, Lady Meow-Meow, Kathmandu, Sassy Fran, Conductor Whiskers, Chairman Meow, Ramses the Great, Billy the Kitten, Senor Don Gato, Sapphire and Jeeves.

Some rare cats, like Tubbs and Xerxes, can be frequent visitors to the Neko Atsume garden. But there are some cats that are especially hard to find.

Peaches

While infamously not a rare cat, Peaches isn’t one to drop by the Neko Atsume garden very often. Users may find they miss her appearance several times before seeing her in their garden. Once users spot Peaches in their garden, it becomes easier to attract her by laying out the right toys and food and checking in frequently. However, she remains an infrequent visitor overall. Peaches easily has one of the largest range of toys she likes and enjoys any food but Thrifty Bitz.

We recommend a combination of the Tiramisu Cube and Frisky Bitz. During our last sighting of Peaches, she came out for the Cat Macaron (Pink) and Frisky Bitz.

Sapphire And Jeeves

Sapphire and Jeeves are some of the latest cats introduced in the late March update . They enjoy either Fairy-tale Parasol or the Tower of Treats and any food other than Thrifty Bits.

We recommend a combination of Fairy-tale Parasol and Deluxe Tuna . Users may find Sapphire and Jeeves make their first appearance quickly after leaving out attractive toys and food, but may be difficult to coax back into the garden afterwards.

Kathmandu

Kathmandu is a picky kitty with specific configurations for toys and food. He enjoys either the Temari Ball or Lacquered Bowl and any food other than Thrifty Bits. To attract Kathmandu with Frisky Bits users must set out the Temari Ball.

We have no other recommendations for him, as we have yet to see him in our garden.
