After the Weekly Shonen Jump leak that revealed a brand new Naruto PS4 game titled Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker , the first gameplay trailer shows how battles will be done in this new game.

Gamespot streamed the first Shinobi Striker trailer, which you can see below.

While it seems Shinobi Striker won’t be Call of Duty with ninjas as we hoped,it does seem more in line with Dragon Ball Xenoverse than any other Naruto game before.

A huge part of Shinobi Striker’ s gameplay is the online multiplayer. A group of four players can go online and square off against another four-man group, but what makes this different from other Naruto games is that everything is happening at once instead of in one-on-one battles.

Players can gang up on one opponent or you can be cornered by the other team. Thankfully, Shinbo Striker seems to open up the battlefield to make it larger than ever before. From the gameplay trailer, you can see the ninja running on walls, trees, water and using jutsu and ninja weapons to attack.

It feels like Xenoverse in that way, where players can fly all around a battlefield, going underwater or hiding behind buildings and large rock formations.

All of the classic jutsus are there, from summonings to elemental jutsus to transformations, as we see Naruto transform into the Kyuubi. There also seems to be an introduction or cutscene before each battle, which could mean a campaign mode within Shinobi Striker.

Of course, this is all speculation for now and unfortunately there was no release date attached to the trailer but it does say that it will release for PS4, Xbox One and Steam. We’ll continue to bring you the latest on Shinobi Striker and everything Naruto so check back with iDigitalTimes.

In the meantime, let us know what you think of Shinobi Striker and what you hope is included in the comments section below.
