Two new fighters for the upcoming Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite fighting game were confirmed at EVO 2017: Gamora and Jedah.
Gamora is known for her role in the Guardians of the Galaxy, a team that has taken the box office by storm in two movies already, while Jedah comes over from the Darkstalkers series that gave the MvC franchise Morrigan, Felicia and Lilith.
While there was no official reveal trailer showing off both characters’ moves and specials, they were both revealed in an exhibition match against two champions.

Jedah looks the most impressive out of the two new characters in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, as his moves don’t look like anyone else from past MvC games. His blood constructs seem to give him a bunch of ground and aerial fighting capabilities.
As for Gamora, her moveset is very reminiscent of Deadpool’s in Marvel vs Capcom 3, with her sword slashes and aerial gun attacks. However, Gamora does seem to switch from shorter swords to a long broad sword in battle.
Both characters are making their Marvel vs Capcom debuts, but there’s another significance to both fighters being confirmed. Their arrival confirms the leaked roster list that appeared online about two months ago.
That leaked list confirmed the longstanding rumor that there will be no mutants or Fantastic Four characters on the Marvel side, but the recent leak does mention that a chance that longstanding X-Men like Wolverine and Magneto may see life in MvC: Infinite in the form of DLC. Only time will tell if that is true.
