‘Lego Dimensions’: Sonic And Other Wave 7 Characters And Packs Revealed At Comic-Con [VIDEO]

Lego Dimensions made a big splash at San Diego Comic-Con with the reveal of the game’s Wave 7 characters and packs. Some of the Wave 7 characters come from the most popular areas of video games, movies and television.

These new packs will include the highly-anticipated Sonic franchise, ET and the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie.

Here’s a rundown of what was announced at Comic-Con.

  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Story Pack and Fun Pack

  • Sonic The Hedgehog Level Pack

  • Gremlins Team Pack

  • E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Fun Pack

  • The Adventure Time Fun Pack

  • LEGO minifigures in each of the expansion packs will also come with golden Toy Tags which unlock a Battle Arena within the Adventure World.

According to Forbes , The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Story Pack will add a new Lego skin for your existing Toy Pad turning it into the Magical Congress of the United States of America. The Fantastic Beasts pack will also add six new levels that follow the movie’s story and also include the ability to play as Newt Scamander with his Diffindo , Reparo and Lumos abilities.

This pack also includes Niffler, which can be rebuilt into the Sinister Scorpion and Vicious Vulture.

The aforementioned Sonic the Hedgehog pack will bring the titular character to Lego Dimensions along with new locations like Green Hill, Emerald Coast and Labyrinth.

The Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO minifigure will come with both the Acrobat and Rail Grind ability. The minifigure will even include a Sonic Speedster which can be rebuilt into Blue Typhoon and Motobug, and The Tornado which can be rebuilt into Crabmeat and Eggcatcher.

B.A. Baracus from the A-Team was also introduced in the ongoing “Who’s the New Guy?” video series from Warner Bros. Interactive.
