Turns out, you really can’t lock up the darkness. Zoom transformed into Black Flash after being eaten by the time wratihs in The Flash Season 2, and now Black Flash is out to collect Reverse-Flash in Legends of Tomorrow Season 2.

In Season 2 episode 10, “Legion of Doom,” we find out what Reverse-Flash’s plan really is and how he’s still alive in the Legends timeline. Turns out, he’s been running from Black Flash, who is basically the grim reaper of the speed force. The only way he’s been able to survive all this time is by not staying in one place for too long. Black Flash can sense the speed force on Reverse-Flash and is tracing his every move.

Thankfully, Malcolm Merlyn and Damien Darhk decided not to kill each other. They joined together against Reverse-Flash, who has been treating them like his minions, to find out what he was hiding. They learned he hopes to use the Spear of Destiny to change reality so he can be free again after being erased from the timeline due to his ancestor, Eddie Thawne’s death. After Reverse-Flash agreed to change Malcolm Merlyn and Damien Darhk’s destiny also, they all fought Black Flash off together. Reverse-Flash learns that if he doesn’t use his powers, Black Flash can’t track him.

Now that Legion of Doom has access to all Rip Hunter’s memories, the Legends are in for a bit of trouble next week. How do you think they’ll stop the Legion of Doom? Let us know in the comments below!
