Key and Peele are back at it again Comedy Central

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, better known as Key and Peele , broke the hearts of fans everywhere when they aired the final episode of their acclaimed sketch comedy show back in September. Key and Peele had a successful five season run on Comedy Central, and both actors are on to bigger and (hopefully) better work, but still - that void has yet to be filled. Fortunately, we’ll get a little refresher on Super Bowl Sunday when the comedy duo team up for a live commentary.

The pair star in a new Super Bowl ad for Squarespace and, as part of the deal, will partner with the web design company for a live commentary broadcast during the big game as well. Mashable reports that the agreement has one little detail: Squarespace does not have trademark rights for the Super Bowl, NFL, or its players. It will be interesting to see how Key and Peele’s characters attempt to skirt around legal terms while reporting on the game.

Speaking of characters, Key and Peele star as Lee and Morris - two eccentric sportscasters from Atlanta. These are new creations that never appeared on their show on Comedy Central, so we’re in for an original surprise. Fans of Key and Peele will recall the partners previous foray into football: a series of hilarious sketches showcasing the bizarre names of college football players. Hopefully this time around will be just as funny.

Squarespace is excited for the opportunity to appear in the Super Bowl commercial lineup. "Every year we really look around for people who can take a prompt from us and run with an idea and create something that's a more organic result than something totally scripted," Squarespace founder and CEO Anthony Casalena told Mashable. "We're just really big fans of theirs from a creative standpoint so it should be really exciting."

The Super Bowl airs live on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 6:30pm ET.
