The iPhone 5se may or may not have a very similar looking design to the iPhone 5s, according to information MacRumors obtained from iPhone case manufacturers. The iPhone 5se is expected to be announced and released sometime during mid-March at the Apple March 2016 Event.

This information seems to indicate that iPhone case manufacturers have little idea which one of the two possible designs Apple intends to go with. One rumored design would see the iPhone 5se have the power button located at the top of the phone, with more hard edges, while the other would see the iPhone 5se have a more iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s feel to it.

If the latter, it would mean that the power button on the iPhone 5se would be located on the side of the phone, and the edges of the device would be much more rounded. If you were wondering what this could possibly look like, MacRumors commissioned a conceptional design drawing of the iPhone 5se with these features, viewable here.

While the iPhone 5se will supposedly have the same dimensions as the iPhone 5s in terms of length, width and depth, and can be purchased at the same price point, its internals are seeing some major upgrades in terms of processing power and RAM.

The upgraded 4-inch iPhone model will be available in Rose Gold, Gold, Gray, Space Gray and Silver.
