Injustice 2 is the sequel to the hit fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us produced by NetherRealm Studios -- the studio behind the Mortal Kombat series. Injustice 2 brings DC Comics greatest heroes and villains and pits them against each other in one-on-one combat.

The sequel will feature a larger roster of fighters (currently 30 fighters) with nine DLC characters coming in the months after the game’s launch.

An in-depth story mode will allow players to enjoy a robust single-player experience, while the Gear System adds more depth and strategy to fights. Players can earn different gear from online battles and single-player campaigns. Gear can boost stats and give special abilities and even change up a character’s moveset.

Injustice 2 will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 16.
