NetherRealm Studios released a brand new trailer announcing the next three DLC characters for Injustice 2 coming in Fighter Pack 2.

Aquaman’s archnemesis, Black Manta, makes his Injustice debut alongside Mortal Kombat ’s Raiden and Hellboy from Dark Horse Comics. All three fighters will be available in Fighter Pack 2 when it’s released later this year. Like the first Fighter Pack, these new characters will be available to download at different times.

Check out the Fighter Pack 2 trailer for Injustice 2 below.

The Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 2 trailer didn’t deliver a release date for any of the fighters but it did reveal that the first gameplay of Black Manta will be shown on the NetherRealm Studios Twitch channel on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. EDT.

This likely means that Black Manta will be the first new fighter to come to Injustice 2 with Raiden and Hellboy following. If we had to guess, Raiden will be released second with Hellboy being the final DLC fighter in Fighter Pack 2.

Raiden becomes the second Mortal Kombat character to join the Injustice 2 roster after Sub-Zero’s inclusion earlier in the year. Hellboy becomes another third-party name to join a NetherRealm Studios fighting game but the first to join the Injustice universe (outside of the Mortal Kombat fighters).

The last two Mortal Kombat games brought in a lot of third-party characters including Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, Predator and Alien.

There are at least three more DLC fighters coming to Injustice 2 . When NetherRealm announced the Fighter Pack DLC, they showed six silhouettes along with the first three DLC fighters, Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero. Many fans predicted Black Manta and Raiden ( including us ) but no one saw Hellboy coming.

What do you think of the three new fighters coming to Injustice 2 ? Which of the three are you looking forward to the most? Let us know in the comments section below.
