Hulu’s ‘The Path’ Unveils New Footage, Poster and Behind the Scenes Look at New Cult Drama

Hulu is continuing to ramp up its original programming to compete with rival streaming services Netflix and Amazon. They’ve already begun to woo away some customers thanks to the renewal of The Mindy Project, Casual and Different People. Now they may have the edge thanks to the creation of what looks to be a thrilling new original series titled The Path.

The Path, a drama series centering around a cult, stars Aaron Paul, who played fan favorite Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad. He’s also joined by several other exceptional actors - Hannibal’s Hugh Dancy and True Detective’s Michelle Monaghan. Hulu released the The Path’s first trailer earlier in February, and it looks pretty damn intense. Though the nature of the show still remains pretty mysterious, Hulu has shed some light on the series with a creepy new poster and featurette. Take a look below:

The cast of The Path takes you behind the scenes of the new series, which looks better and better with each passing day. So far, Hulu has showcased the perfect mix of mystery and intrigue and fans of the actors’ previous shows will certainly take interest. A poster with a powerfully vague tagline has surfaced as well:

Here’s an official synopsis of The Path, courtesy of Hulu: The Path follows a family at the center of a controversial cult as they struggle with relationships, faith and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want.

The Path is created by playwright Jessica Goldberg and is set to debut on Hulu on March 30.
