You could join John Barrowman and Stephen Amell on a cruise ship. Yes, you heard that right. Heroes & Villains Fan Fest takes place in convention centers all across the country, but in a possible future it could take place on a cruise ship. Both Arrow veterans took to social media yesterday evening, encouraging fans to take a survey about a potential three to four day sail to the Bahamas, Jamaica or Mexico. Can you imagine “Anything Goes” at sea?
"I think what really appeals to guests like Stephen Amell and John Barrowman is the totally immersive, intimate experience we can offer on a cruise," Francesca Garrett, Vice President of Marketing for Fan Fest, told Player.One. "The crowds are smaller, the schedule is relaxed, and our celebrity guests can really engage with fans in a way they simply can't in a massive convention center."
The survey is the first step to setting sail. In it, fans are asked to choose which months work best with their schedule and which port is most convenient for departure: Miami or Tampa. This is a fan event, so it’s all about you. Give your imput on what activities you’d enjoy most. The usual autographs, Q&A’s and photo sessions will likely be available, but the cruise could also offer games, fan meetups, live comedy shows and concert and stunt demonstrations. If you’d just like to hang out and chill by the pool with your favorite actors, you might be able to do that, too! Considering Amell and Barrowman’s interest on social media, it’s very likely they’d be aboard.
“We are thinking of doing a Heroes & Villains cruise… Really, actually. They did a Walker Stalker cruise. I saw Jeffrey Dean Morgan talking about it and I was jealous of the cruise and I was more jealous that he was guest hosting because I would definitely be awesome at that but now they’ve got a new one and I'm starting to ramble,” Amell said during a Facebook Live on the Arrow set. “ If we get enough positive responses, there will be a cruise. If we don’t, they're probably won't be. And of course if we can make it work with my schedule, I will be there...as in I will definitely be there. Let’s go somewhere warm. Heroes & Villains. The Cruise. Maybe.”
