This week’s Hearthstone Tavern Brawl is “Gadgetzan Throw-Down.” It brings us to the Mean Streets Of Gagdetzan to finally figure out which boss is the best. In this Brawl, you play as one of the three gang leaders introduced in the last expansion: Kazakus for Mage, Don Han’Cho for Paladin and Aya Blackpaw for Druid.

Though this Brawl has you playing a certain class, you will not get a win for that class after playing, meaning if you need to win two games as Mage, a Kazakus win in this Brawl will not count for your Daily Rewards.

The cards in the deck are all pulled from the Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan expansion, at random. You’ll also only pull cards from your gang, meaning Kazkus can’t have any Grimy Goons cards in his deck but you can have Raza The Unchained . There also don’t seem to be any repeats of cards in the decks, so Kazakus’ Battlecry will work.

Be wary of Weasel Tunnelers if you want to use cards that require having no duplicates in your deck. I lost a game because I killed one of my opponents mammals in a hat and continued to use my Kazakus to get a spell.

Here are the Hero Powers for this Tavern Brawl:

Kazakus- Brew Potion: 2 mana- Add a random potion to your hand

Don Han’Cho- Smuggle: 2 mana- Give a random minion in your hand +2/+2

Aya Blackpaw- Construct Golem: 4 mana- Summon a Jade Golem

My favorite hero for this Brawl has to be Kazakus; a potion every turn can swing the game heavily in your favor. When Don Han’Cho summons an Auctionmaster Beardo , you want to be able to destroy it immediately with a Dragonfire Potion . Aya is definitely the weaker of the three, it takes way too long to ramp up your golems until they are useful.

Remember, this Tavern Brawl is completely random, so don’t be surprised if you get your butt kicked the first few times
