Halo Wars 2 will be out in a few months, but it looks like some minor leaks have made their way online. As posted on the YouTube channel Gamecheat13, you can now get a look at some characters and listen to some new tracks.

As we can see in the video, character designs are different than what we’ve seen in recent games like Halo 5: Guardians. The most notable changes are to Spartan armor, as well as Grunt and Elite designs. As for the music, it all sounds very appropriate for a Halo game. There are plenty of dramatic sounds along with the trademark vocals found in previous Halo games.

Like anything else on the internet, take this leak with a grain of salt. That being said, if this is a hoax, it may be the most involved hoax we’ve seen yet. Someone would have had to make 14 minutes of original music, which would be insane. This all seems believable, so it’s probably a safe bet to get on the hype train.

As for when we can expect more Halo Wars 2 news, the game launches on PC and Xbox One on Feb. 21. That’s less than two months away. We’ll likely receive more official news about the RTS take on Halo from 343 Industries/Microsoft before then.

So what do you think about the leak? Do you like the design changes made in Halo Wars 2? Do you want to see Halo 6's (if and when it gets announced) use these designs? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
