The original cast of Full House will be reunited for the premiere of Fuller House, but unfortunately Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson have decided not to join the rest of the Full House family for the first episode. All thirteen episodes of Fuller House, a spin-off of Full House, will be available for steaming Feb. 26 on Netflix.

"Ashley said, I have not been in front of a camera since I was 17 and I don't feel comfortable acting," Fuller House Executive Producer Bob Boyett said to People. "Mary-Kate said it would have to be me because Ash doesn't want to do it. But the timing is so bad for us.”

As Candace Bure, who is playing D.J. Tanner-Fuller, put it when she appeared on Fox & Friends a couple months ago, Fuller House’s concept is “flopped” compared to Full House. In Fuller House, D.J., BFF Kimmy Gibbler and D.J.’s sister, Stephanie, will be the ones in charge of running the household instead of Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier. Much like how a car accident killed Saget’s TV-wife, D.J.’s husband met an unfortunate end.

"I can honestly say that every scene with Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweeten and the legacy cast ... they are forever just a huge part of my heart and just so much fun," Bure said to Entertainment Weekly. "I hope everyone loves the show as much as we [loved] doing it because we want to be back for years and years and years."

However instead of having to raise three girls, D.J. has three boys named Jackson, Max and Tommy. Tommy, the baby, will be played by twins in much the same way that Michelle Tanner was played by Mary-Kate and Ashley from 1987 to 1995.

“[D.J.] is a little bit like Danny Tanner as a dad," Bure said to Entertainment Weekly. "She's very organized and orderly. She's a single mom, so she kind of has to be with three kids, and she's the mom of the group in every way, between Kimmy and Stephanie."

Jackson and Max are the two older children. Also in the household is Gibbler’s teenage daughter, Ramona. None of the children that will appear on Fuller House have been on a sitcom before, but since the original cast will be guest starring on certain episodes, they’ll have a chance to appear on screen with legends.

"They're great kids, they clicked right into this," Coulier said to People (Who will also be featured in episode three). “We're still doing all our stupid shenanigans, me, John and Bob, and we're getting, 'Guys, there's kids here.' So that hasn't changed!"

Excitement is running high for Fuller House. According to YouTube view counts, Netflix’s teaser for Fuller House has been one of the few promo videos that has gain over 10 million views before the release date of a Netflix show.
