Popular mobile game Fruit Ninja is going analog, teaming up with board game publisher Lucky Duck Games for three new Fruit Ninja games. A Kickstarter campaign that encompasses all the games is now live, with an anticipated shipping window of August 2018.

The three Fruit Ninja games are Fruit Ninja: Card Master, Fruit Ninja: Slice & Dice and Fruit Ninja: Combo Party. Backing the Kickstarter campaign at the $29 pledge will earn you one game of your choice, along with all stretch goal rewards. $54 will get you two games and the stretch goals, and $69 will get you all three games, the stretch goal rewards and a box sleeve to hold them all together. To help smooth over any fears, all three reward tiers include a money-back guarantee.

“The support we have received from [Fruit Ninja developer] Halfbrick has been amazing and now we’re incredibly excited to be launching this Kickstarter campaign and get the last bit of support from our community to bring the unparalleled fun of the Fruit Ninja digital experience to a physical form shared at home with friends and family,” Lucky Duck Founder Vincent Vergonjeanne said in a press statement.

Fruit Ninja: Card Master is both a matching and deck-building game, with each player racing to match cards in his or her hand with cards on the table. At the end of each round, players can buy additional cards to add to their hand. A preview video of Fruit Ninja: Card Master from Man Vs Meeple can be watched below.

Fruit Ninja: Slice & Dice is a “strategy slicing game” played with cards and dice. Players roll their dice at the same time for 20 seconds, allowing each die to be rolled up to three times. Once done rolling, players can claim combo cards based on the results on the dice.

The last game, Fruit Ninja: Combo Party, is a dexterity game that sounds a whole lot like Jungle Speed. Players discard, and if there’s a match with another player, it starts a race to see who can grab a stick from the middle of the table. According to the Kickstarter page, there are additional rules regarding scoring and passing decks as well.

All three games will come to stores at different times. Card Master is planned for Q3 2018, which is the late summer and early fall. Combo Party will release in late 2018, and Slice & Dice is scheduled for an early 2019 release. That means you can be playing Slice & Dice way before it becomes available at retail by backing the campaign.
