Set photos tease the moment we’ve all been waiting for: The reveal of The Flash’s new suit. But for avid fans, the new outfit looks familiar. Flash’s latest suit first debuted in Season 3 episode 19, “Once and Future Flash,” where present day Barry Allen visited a future version of himself in 2024. In the set photos below, we see present day Barry Allen (or speed force Barry Allen?) rocking the new getup.

This suit upgrade resembles The Flash’s Rebirth gear and a more traditional look from recent comics, even though it’s missing the yellow boots. Via Grant Gustin’s Instagram, the boots are not happening. It’s probably not a coincidence the premiere episode title is a play on the word rebirth: “The Flash Reborn.”

The big differences between the new and old suit are the defining yellow lines, arm bolts, an exposed zipper and a full gold belt. While we are all extremely excited to see this debut in person, many fans were also hoping to see The Flash ring. After all, it is Season 4. The ring allows Barry to conceal and put on his costume with the push of a button. We actually see Eobard Thawne use this same tech in The Flash Seasons 1 and 2. Barry even asked Cisco to reverse-(pun intended)-engineer it, but the team has yet to figure out how.

The episode where Barry’s future self wears the suit in 2024 aired on April 25. That’s also the same day as the ‘Flash Missing Vanishes in Crisis’ headline in The Central City Citizen, where Iris West-Allen is no longer the author. Who knows if that was a bit of foreshadowing of what’s to come. Either way, we’ll have to wait until The Flash returns from the speed force for answers. Hopefully, he returns wiser than he left.

In addition to the suit, recent set photos also show a mystery villain. While there’s of course been no confirmation, fans were quick to notice the costume strongly resembles Becky Sharpe, aka Hazard. She’s a member of the Injustice Society and it’s no coincidence she looks like a casino dealer. She has psionic powers that are mysteriously tied to dice that basically let her assign good and bad luck to whoever she likes.
