Barry has had more than three suits during his time as The Flash and it looks like he may time for a fourth. In a tweet, series star Grant Gustin suggested his suit is due for an upgrade. However, it looks like co-star Keiynan Lonsdale is one step ahead of him. The Australian actor, who plays Kid Flash, posted a series of photos on Twitter of him getting a head to shoulder bust. Take a look:
It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Barry with a new suit and so far, every change to his suit has been fairly minor. Kid Flash, on the other hand, just got his first official suit during the midseason finale. The suit shown in the episode is the same suit Kid Flash briefly wore in the Flashpoint timeline earlier this season. So unless Wally somehow destroys his first suit within 5 or so episodes (we’ve seen Barry do many times), it’s possible Keiynan’s fitting could be for a new mask in the a future timeline.
Other versions of Kid Flash’s suits in the comics had exposed hair, a silver and red chest plate, with black and red pants. Wally’s suit on the show is very similar to the most recognizable suit in the comics--yellow top and red bottom. He’s also donned all red like Barry currently does on The Flash. If Cisco were to make Barry a new suit, it’s most likely he’d add some new tech and possibly a few cosmetic changes, like a yellow lightning streak at the waist.
