Jesse Quick will show off her new life as a speedster in The Flash Season 3 episode 3, “Magenta.” She’s featured in a new promo and mentioned in the synopses of both episode 3 and 4.

Jesse and Harrison Wells travel from Earth-2 back to Earth-1 next week. In the Season 3 episode 3 promo, Jesse runs through the portal at lightning speed. She and Barry run together to save a building from collapsing. It appears she’s now a hero on Earth-2, but it’s unclear if her newfound powers are the result of the particle accelerator explosion, being zapped in coma by Barry's speed force, or because of Flashpoint. I think it’s safe to say it’s the latter of those reasons, but nothing is for certain until we see the episode.

The CW is probably putting their own spin on Jesse's costume.

The description for Season 3 episode 4, “The New Rogues,” reveals Barry will start to train Jesse in episode 3 while he goes to battle a new metahuman who can control metal. It won’t be until episode 4 that we see Jesse Quick in action against another metahuman and it doesn’t look pretty. Mirror Master and The Top are in town looking for Captain Cold to even the score. Barry let’s Jesse tag along but she defies orders and there’s serious consequences. Take a look at the synopses for episodes 3 and 4 below.

Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash are thrilled to reunite with Earth-2 Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Jesse (guest star Violett Beane). Wells confides to Barry and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) that Jesse has all the powers of a speedster and has been saving people on his Earth. He is concerned about her safety and wants them to talk her out of using her powers. Meanwhile, Magenta, (guest star Joey King) a new meta who can control metal, terrorizes the city.

Barry (Grant Gustin) continues to train Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) and when a new meta human, Mirror Master (guest star Grey Damon), appears on the scene he lets her tag along. Mirror Master has teamed up with his old partner, Top (guest star Ashley Rickards), and is looking for Snart (Wentworth Miller) to even a score. Jesse is quick to join the chase but defies one of Barry’s orders which results in disastrous consequences.

While Jesse has gained powers post-Flashpoint, Wally has lost them. Do you think Season 3 will ever see the return of Kid Flash? Let us know in the comments below!

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8pm.
