With The Flash Season 3 midseason break coming up, we can expect a lot of set photos to release as the cast finishes up filming episodes 12, 13 and more. The most recent reveal is three-speedster team up, but another photo could add an additional speedster to the lineup.

It looks like Accelerated Man could be coming to live-action. Set photos show a guy in a costume who looks EXACTLY like Accelerated Man from the comics. Giving more credence to this theory, Accelerated Man is from Earth-19, the same place H.R. Wells is from. H. R. also told everyone he used to assist The Flash on his Earth and Accelerated Man is described as Earth 19’s version of The Flash.
After H.R. took a suspicious phone call earlier this season, where he told someone nobody suspects he’s here for a specific reason, there’s a possibility H.R. could be familiar with this speedster. Maybe H.R. trained him on Earth-19. That could explain his willingness to train Wally and his peculiar interest in metahumans. In the comics, Accelerated was a hero, but it’s not unlike the Arrowverse to switch up character origins, especially for a someone with a limited background in the comics.
Accelerated Man’s true name is unknown, so there aren’t many clues as to who could be behind the mask. A white scarf covers almost all of Accelerated Man’s face, so it’s impossible to tell what actor could be wearing the suit. This could mean he is someone we’ve already met, possibly even H.R. Wells himself. He seems to know way too much about Earth-1 villains, so much it makes you wonder if he’s defeated them himself. H.R. Wells also described a war on Earth-19 called ‘World War M.’ Organized by himself and The Flash, he said it was the ultimate metahuman showdown. It’s possible that if H.R. is Accelerated Man, he actually came to Earth-1 seeking refuge during the aftermath of the war.
If this man is indeed Accelerated Man, he’s the ninth speedster on The Flash. Aside from The Flash, Jay Garrick’s original Flash from Earth 3, Jesse Quick and Kid Flash, the rest are villains: Reverse Flash, The Rival, Savitar and Zoom (who we believe will be reincarnated as Black Flash).
