Winter is coming (sorry, I couldn't pass on a Game of Thrones joke). After Fast 8 production in sunny Cuba, the film crew filmed in the frosty terrain of Mývatn, Iceland.

The official Fast & Furious Facebook page shared some new photos from the filming, including a tranquil picture of Fast 8 light painted across a brilliant aurora in the sky. But that wasn't the only picture from Fast 8 that's been shared on Facebook – we get a first look of some of the hero cars that Dom's family will be driving.

Obviously, these aren't all the cars that will be in Fast 8. In fact, there are many cars reserved for the rest of the cast that are unaccounted for. Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Jason Statham will be joined by new faces, including Scott Eastwood, Charlize Theron, Kristofer Hivju and Helen Mirren.

Despite the generous photos as well as the leaked videos of the stunt scenes from Cleveland, details around the Fast 8 plot still isn't completely clear. Still, even though the franchise has veered away from its LA street racing roots, it isn't difficult to wager a guess on what the plot of Fast 8 may be, especially since Jason Statham, the main villain in 7, will appear in the upcoming movie as well.

Fast 8 arrives in theaters on April 17, 2017. Next, Fast and Furious 9 is expected to follow in 2019. Finally, Fast and Furious 10, the last of the franchise, is expected to arrive in 2021.
