A festive Fallout Shelter update has just rolled out, according to the official Fallout Twitter:

Unlike last year’s holiday update, 2016’s Fallout Shelter holiday update involves new limited edition quests such as “Rescue Santa!” and “Santa’s Helpers.” You only need to be level 11 to go on these quests and they let you earn legendary gear, making them a great choice for both new and old players. New players can enjoy easy legendary gear to help them get started and experienced players can enjoy collecting the limited edition holiday items.

The holiday gear includes items such as an Elf Suit (I+3, L+2) and an original Santa Suit (P+4, E+3, C+4). The stats aren’t great, but they’re certainly cute to collect.

There are also changes to some locations inside the game, such as the Cafeteria, which has Santa hats, snowflakes and mistletoe everywhere, and the living quarters. Unfortunately the themes are not craftable so you’ll have to enjoy them while you can until the event is over.

Important to note: you can get your hands on limited edition outfits by opening up lunchboxes during this event, so if you’ve been saving them, now’s the time to bust them open. Bethesda mentioned that these festive items will only be available for a limited time, but hasn’t given us a window yet, so take advantage of the update while you can.
