Game giant EA has announced five games that will be playable at this year's EA Play. EA Play is the event that EA hosts right around E3 in Los Angeles. Alongside this news, the company has also revealed when gamers can get tickets to come to the event themselves.

The five games coming are a mix of exciting and expected, ranging from the brand new Star Wars Battlefront to this year's crop of sports games. EA did mention that this isn't the final list of games that will be available, so expect some more announcements as we get closer to the show. The five confirmed games are as follows:

  • The next Star Wars Battlefront
  • A new Need For Speed game
  • Madden NFL 18
  • FIFA 18
  • NBA Live 18

It would make sense to see NHL 18 there as well, seeing as how that should be releasing in September like normal. For more out-there guesses as to what EA may be bringing, we could be getting a look at some new Battlefield 1 DLC, or maybe even some Mass Effect: Andromeda post-launch content. These are just guesses, however, so don't take this as fact.

If you want to attend EA Play in person, tickets to the event will be available starting on April 20 at noon EST. More information about how to get tickets will be coming between now and then. EA Play will take place from June 10 to 12 in Los Angeles. If you can't make it, EA is planning on providing a number of ways to participate online with competitive events, gameplay videos and interviews with developers.

So what do you think? Are you excited to see any of these games at this year's EA Play? What do you hope gets announced at this year's show? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
