The latest issue of V-Jump magazine in Japan announced a brand new 3DS Dragon Ball game will be coming to Japan in 2016.

According to Bandai Namco the new Dragon Ball game will be released for the Nintendo 3DS and will be an RPG. While not many details were given, the magazine did show a fusion between Goku and Broly with the words “Dragon Ball’s fusion RPG on 3DS” according to Siliconera via Hachima.

If you’re a fan of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z then you know there is no fusion between Broly and Goku so this Project Fusion game will take some creative license and likely create some of the most over-the-top and powerful fusions in the franchise’s history.

Dragon Ball Project Fusion is said to bring a completely new enjoyment as part of the ultimate Dragon Ball game.

While Dragon Ball Project Fusion was announced for Japan there was no release date given or if it will be coming to the West.

In June 2015, Japanese Nintendo 3DS owners were treated to Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden but the West didn’t receive the game until October. A similar release schedule will likely be the case for Project Fusion with Japan getting the game first and then a Western release later in the year.

So what do you think of the announced Dragon Ball Project Fusion? What fusions do you hope to see in the game? Let us know in the comments section.
