Dishonored 2 will get a free update next week, with a New Game Plus mode coming to all platforms. The update will also include a variety of fixes and tweaks that fans have been requesting since the game launched in November.

New Game Plus will be unlocked once Dishonored 2 has been completed as either Emily or Corvo. Once unlocked, players are able to start over as either character, but have access to both characters’ powers. Players will also start with all of the Runes and Bone Charms they collected in the previous game, and can reassign Runes how they see fit.

Dishonored players have asked for it, so now New Game Plus is here for Dishonored 2,” creative director Harvey Smith said in a statement. “If you've ever wanted to make higher-powered characters, now's your chance. If you've wanted to play Emily Kaldwin with Possession or Devouring Swarm, or Corvo Attano with Domino, now you can. We've been having fun with it here at Arkane Studios, and we hope you will too.”

The update is available in beta on PC right now, and will be released in full for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on Dec. 19. A second update is also in the works which will include a Mission Select option and more custom-tuned difficulty options to tailor the game to your play style.
