We can't name a superhero sequel with greater anticipation from fans than Dead Pool 2, but it looks like director Tim Miller is walking away from the movie. The reason? Insiders hint at creative differences with Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.

Miller and Reynolds worked together on Deadpool, which grossed $786 million worldwide since its Valentine's Day release. Deadpool not only launched a successful new franchise for Fox, it also proved that fans are open to a superhero movie with an R rating. Fox was hesitant to green flag an R rated Deadpool movie at first, but Miller is believed to be the one who leaked early test footage on the Internet, which ultimately went viral and convinced the studio into making the movie happen.

According to sources via Deadline, Miller and Reynolds "increasingly butted heads" due to creative differences, but the details are unknown. Deadpool 2 is currently still in its casting stages and are searching for an across for the role of Domino, the sequel's female lead.

It looks like Deadpool 2 is having a rough start, but we definitely have our fingers crossed for one of our favorite superhero movies of the year. Stay tuned as we expect to learn more in the months ahead.
