'Daredevil' Season 2 spoilers ahead.
'Daredevil' Season 2 spoilers ahead. Marvel

So you’re done binging Daredevil, and you’re sitting there thinking, “What the actual f just happened?” Replaying the last 13 hours in your head, you can’t seem to remember anything but a dimly lit hallway, a blind man, and 50 ninjas. Believe it or not, there were a few things that happened aside from The Punisher slaying everyone in his path and Daredevil kindly breaking bones. We don’t have many details about Season 3, but assuming there is one, pay attention to these 10 questions when rewatching Daredevil for clues about the next season.

How will Karen react?

Will Karen forgive Matt for blowing her off and lying to her now that she knows the truth? Karen Page is a great character, but I was extremely relieved when Matt and Karen were fighting at the end of the season. Their sexual tension was obnoxious and interactions always corny. The whole ‘will they, won’t they’ story was so annoying and we finally got a break from that at the end. Karen developed an odd relationship with Frank Castle and the two seem to care for each other as more than just friends, so that could get in the way of Matt and Karen’s relationship. I came to love Karen’s new position as a reporter at The Daily Bulletin, but will Matt and Karen get back together now that she knows the truth?

Are The Punisher and Daredevil allies?

The Punisher and Daredevil’s budding friendship became clear even in the epic chained-roof scene where the two had a nice fireside chat about vigilante values. Both characters had the chance to kill one another multiple times, but failed to do so. In the final scene, we see Daredevil fighting helmet off and The Punisher providing backup on top of a roof in the distance. Daredevil chooses to leave his helmet on the ground and finish The Hand, and The Punisher gives him a friendly nod of approval. Will The Punisher forgive Daredevil for sending him to jail, give up killing, and join Team Daredevil? After all, Daredevil and The Punisher now have a common enemy: Wilson Fisk.

What is Karen’s ‘Mystery Accident’?

Karen moves into Ben Urich’s old office to research her Frank Castle article and there is a folder with her name on it sitting on the desk. In it, is an old newspaper with the headline ‘Mystery Accident Causes Teen Fatality,’ which is referring to the death of her 16-year-old brother, Kevin Paxton Page. At this point, it’s safe to assume there’s something major Karen isn’t telling us about that night. In the comics, Karen’s father, Paxton Page, is a crazy scientist named Death’s Head. He ultimately dies saving Karen during a tussle with Daredevil. The foreshadowing suggests Karen’s storyline isn’t close to finished, will Marvel introduce Death’s Head as Karen’s brother?

Will Claire Temple become full-time Night Nurse?

Claire quits her job at Metro-General Hospital after refusing to take part in the cover-up of The Hand’s suspicious dead bodies. Will she start openly working with Daredevil?

What is the significance of The Black Sky?

When Elektra finds out she is The Black Sky, she’s somewhat relieved. Stick hid this from her for her entire life. What kind of evil weapon is The Black Sky and why would Stick need to protect Elektra from her own destiny? In the final scene, we see Elektra’s dead body in a stone coffin surrounded by The Hand. It’s safe to assume Elektra is coming back to life, and it probably has something to do with those zombie kids who had their blood drained by The Hand. It’s no coincidence that Claire discovered the dead members of The Hand were dead once already, so this has got to be part of the resurrection process. Also, why is The Hand protecting a huge hole in the ground?

What's With Melvin Potter?

There are a lot of easter eggs in Melvin’s shop. Alongside Stilt-Man’s gear, there are multiple references to Melvin’s alter-go, Gladiator. Melvin will do anything to keep Betsy safe, but if Daredevil can’t protect them, Gladiator may have to take matters into his own hands.

Kingpin’s plan?

Even though his identity hasn’t been officially proved, the Wilson Fisk / Kingpin connection is made pretty clear this season. He becomes the ‘Kingpin’ of the prison and uses his leverage to help Frank Castle escape. The first question is, did Fisk make an enemy or a friend out of The Punisher? Also, how is Fisk tied to The Hand?

What’s Foggy doing at Hogarth’s firm?

After delivering a stellar opening statement during Frank Castle’s trial, Foggy proves himself as a solo attorney. He goes from Matt’s self-conscious right hand man to a respected lawyer at Hogarth, Chao, and Benowitz. Jeri Hogarth, from Jessica Jones, personally offers him a job for cases dealing with supernatural humans.

Is Nelson & Murdock done for good?

As usual, Foggy and Matt bickered all season. They decided to part ways with Nelson & Murdock after the Frank Castle trial. Will Daredevil take this time to focus strictly on vigilantism or continue fighting with the law on his side?

What's MICRO?

Karen may have uncovered the sting op that killed Frank Castle’s family, but there’s more to this story. In the final scene, Frank goes back to his old house to find a hidden CD labeled MICRO. The Colonel and Frank Castle appear to have beef stemming from when they were marines in Afghanistan. A mission gone wrong could be why the Blacksmith killed Frank's family for revenge. Frank Castle and Karen both have dark, secret pasts. Now that Karen is a reporter, she’ll most likely continue to investigate The Blacksmith’s crime ring.
