‘Clash Of Clans’ Update Sneak Peek: Treasury, Star Bonus & Loot Cart Details Revealed Clash of Clans

Supercell has revealed details about the new Treasury, Star Bonus & Loot Cart features arriving in the upcoming update for Clash of Clans. No official word is out yet when this update will be released, but according to Supercell’s community spokesperson, the Clash of Clans team has been busy “finalizing the update.”

Dubbed the Treasury Update, this Clash of Clans update is a direct response to the complaints and issues Clash of Clan players have had with the game since Supercell released the Town Hall 11 Update in mid-December. Players have taken to the Supercell forums and Clash of Clans subreddit to voice their objections with the changes Supercell implemented in the Town Hall 11 Update and the new difficulty to acquire and keep resources.

The biggest change in the Treasury Update will be the Treasury itself, a new resource-protected bank that will be located in the Clan Castle. Loot bonuses acquired from Clan Wars and Star Bonuses will be kept here, and the capacity of the Treasury will be determined by Town Hall and Clan Perks level. Supercell says the capacity of the Treasury will mirror the capacity of the War Loot Storage, which is being removed from the game, at equivalent levels.

The Daily Star Bonus will now be unlocked by winning five stars from multiplayer battles, and a new bonus will be available every day. Higher leagues will net a Clash of Clans player higher bonuses, but the maximum Star Bonus reward is available at the Titan 3 League level.

The Loot Cart is the other new change coming in the Treasury Update. The Loot Cart will appear on a Clash of Clans player’s map after their base has been attacked, and will give back 20-percent of the resources the Clash of Clans player lost. Only one Loot Cart will be able to spawn at a time, but if another attack happens before a Clash of Clans player has the chance to collect those resources, if 20-percent of the amount lost in the subsequent attack is greater than the amount of resources being held in the Loot Cart, then the Loot Cart will update itself.

Other changes coming in the Treasury Update includes some minor balancing issues and miscellaneous bug fixes. Second Air Defense will now become available to be unlocked at Town Hall 6, while the Third Air Defense will become available to be unlocked at Town Hall 7. Also, Eagle Artillery, the new defensive weapon that was released in the Town Hall 11 Update, will now do three times the amount of damage to Golemites and Golems.
