Clash Of Clans ’ brand new Builder Hall is being updated to level 6 soon, and the patch offers a new troop, called the Night Witch, as well as a fresh defense called the Roaster. Supercell’s official changelog outlines the full details.
First up, here’s what upgrades players will be privy to once they reach Builder Hall level 6.
- +1 Archer Tower
- +1 Crusher
- +1 Mine
- +1 Mega Mine
- +4 Wall sections
In other words, if you’ve been frustrated by Barbarians and Giants at Builder Hall 5, the next level allows you to exact much heavier revenge on them with more formidable artillery. In addition, all existing defenses can be upgraded to level 6 and the Spring Trap can evolve to level 4.
Here’s what to expect on offense.
- +1 Army Camp
- Levels 11 - 12 for all troops at Star Labratory level 6
- Levels 6 - 10 for the Battle Machine
With all these upgrades, resource collectors can be made stronger as well. This means your Elixir, Gold, Gem Mine and Clock Tower get a level 6 Boost too. To make the Builder Hall’s Gear Up feature even more useful, the Archer Tower can be augmented just like the Cannon and brought over to the traditional Town Hall map. Gearing up requires a level 6 Archer Tower at the Builder Hall and a level 10 Tower at home.
Of course, as with any Clash Of Clans update, the tweaking wouldn’t be complete without a few balance adjustments, too. The Clock Tower cooldown time has been reduced from eight hours to seven hours, its duration has been reduced by 50 percent and the speed-up multiplier has been reduced to 8x instead of 10x. Above all, Supercell felt the existing Clock Tower allowed players to level up too quickly.
Perhaps best of all, however, are the update’s new troop and defense. Here’s everything we’ve learned about them.
The Night Witch
- Available after upgrading the Builder Barracks to level 8
- Spawns bats that attack air and ground units. Starts with four bats and gains more as she levels
- Spawns into a swarm of bats after she dies
- Great against Crushers
- 250 hitpoints, 90 DPS, bats do 20 DPS [subject to change]
Roaster
- Shoots a burst of 15 balls of scalding plasma into the sky
- Has a range of seven tiles
- Hits ground and air units
- Does Area Splash damage
- Great against the Night Witch
- Does 16 damage per shot at level 6, 10 at level 1, 800 hitpoints at level 1 [subject to change]
As those who follow Clash Of Clans closely will know, however, these Builder Hall changes aren’t the only ones to expect in the game’s June 2017 update. As detailed last week, Supercell is also bringing a bunch of new Town Hall 11 troop levels for Cannons, Wizards, the Hog Rider and more.
Clash Of Clans is available now on Android and iOS . A release date for the Builder Hall 6 update has not been announced at this time.
