Call Of Duty: WWII has some big updates ahead for PvP multiplayer and Nazi Zombies. In its latest community blog post, Sledgehammer described how Domination XL and Zombies Orders change the game.

Starting with standard multiplayer, Sledgehammer is actively investigating a few small issues causing problems for fans. To compensate for possible lost Supply Drops during December’s Winter Siege event, all PC players will be awarded three Rare Resistance Supply Drops in the coming days. Missing Supply Drops after leveling up remains an issue on all platforms, and the team is currently looking into a solution there as well.

For those not happy with the recent Paratrooper Scorestreak buff in update 1.10, SHG still wants to make improvements to that streak and a few others. Paratrooper performance does seem to be slightly improved after the recent patch, though.

The major new additions in this week’s update are Domination XL and Orders and Contracts in Nazi Zombies. Tweaks to Domination have been internally tested since January, and the changes are almost ready to go live. As its name implies, Domination XL is a super-sized version of the standard mode that awards 100 points per kill instead of 50. Fans of the mode have long lamented that it’s too difficult to unlock Scorestreaks in Dom, so this change is basically an effort to make that match type more fun. The standard version won’t be going anywhere, because Domination XL will be its own dedicated playlist.

Not much is known about Orders and Contracts in Nazi Zombies at this time, but we imagine they’ll work just like they do in standard multiplayer. Completing these short and long-term goals will offer players a chance to unlock rewards. We’ll learn more about how these features work when DLC 2 presumably releases in April.

Call Of Duty: WWII was updated earlier in the week to offer two new pistols, more Special Orders and a wide assortment of bug fixes across the entire game. It will likely be a few weeks before the next major patch is deployed.

Call Of Duty: WWII is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Be sure to play Gun Game for double XP rewards until Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. EST.
