Call Of Duty: WWII campaign week is upon us, and day two includes four character trailers that fully detail the game’s single-player squadmates. Fans that follow developments closely will likely recall these names from “classified” teasers that surfaced shortly after this spring’s reveal, but now we get to see these soldiers in action. Here’s everything we know:

Private Ronald “Red” Daniels

  • Born : 1925 Longview, TX
  • Age : 19
  • Height : 5’11”
  • Weight : 165 lbs.
  • Enlisted : March 27, 1944
  • Other Details : He’s the “heart of your platoon” and the main protagonist. He has a close relationship with his brother who taught him how to be a hero. He once saved his brother from being attacked by a wolf. His sweetheart learns she is pregnant with Red’s child shortly after he leaves for war.

Private Robert Zussman

  • Born : 1923 Chicago, IL
  • Age : 21
  • Height : 5’8”
  • Weight : 180 lbs.
  • Enlisted : Dec. 12, 1943
  • Other Details : He’s described as a “warrior spirit” and is “fiercely loyal” to his squadmates. He confronts problems head on and doesn’t stop until they’re solved. He always feels like he has something to prove.

Sergeant William Pierson

  • Born : 1910 Enid, OK
  • Age : 34
  • Height : 6’1”
  • Weight : 184 lbs.
  • Enlisted : Sept. 3, 1926 (Age 16 under a false identity)
  • Other Details : He’s a veteran of the North African Campaign that took place earlier in the war, and he’s described as a “tough as nails” personality that “never backs down” from a challenge. He keeps his squad in line and isn’t afraid to be brutally honest with them.

Lieutenant Joseph Turner

  • Born : 1913 Cambridge, MA
  • Age : 31
  • Height : 6’1”
  • Weight : 190 lbs.
  • Graduated West Point : May 13, 1958
  • Other Details : He’s described as a “born leader” that “inspires loyalty.” He believes there is no mission too difficult or sacrifice too great when it comes to the heroics of war. The relationship he has with his platoon gives him strength.

These are, of course, just a few of the main characters Red and his squad will encounter over the course of Call of Duty: WWII’s scripted narrative. One key figure not featured in Monday’s campaign trailer is Rousseau—she is a French resistance fighter and will likely be a major part of stealth missions and sneaking behind enemy lines.

This character showcase is just day two of a promised four-day campaign for Call Of Duty: WWII. The next two days will include a detailing of non-squad allies and the real history that inspired the story. Check back here for a full analysis of that content as soon as it arrives.

Call Of Duty: WWII comes to PS4, Xbox One and PC Nov. 3.

While it’s not a perfect game, Call Of Duty: WWII knows the expectations it has to meet and hits almost every single one of them fairly well.
  • Action-packed campaign
  • Traditional multiplayer at its best
  • A more welcoming Zombies mode
  • Predictable story
  • Small multiplayer maps
  • Post-launch server issues
