Call Of Duty: WWII had a stellar weekend in terms of its post-launch sales , but there are many bugs across PS4, Xbox One and PC that need to be fixed. As listed in a recent Activision Support blog post, the publisher is keenly aware of most major issues dragging down multiplayer.

Read a summary of the bugs and their status in the list below.

Bugs Under Investigation

All Platforms

  • Some players can’t pick up new contracts in Headquarters.
  • Some players are unable to redeem Contract or Order rewards.
  • “You must select a Division” message appears when joining a game via a friend invite.
  • Classes are reset when the player equips a weapon variant.
  • It’s fairly common to get stuck on the Scoreboard screen after multiplayer matches.
  • Pre-order bonuses have not been received by some eligible players.
  • Rank progress being lost. Players affected by this issue should visit the dedicated threads for PS4, Xbox One or PC.
  • Mail content is getting stuck in the mail station due to a graphical error.
  • Load times when going to Headquarters are longer than usual. For gamers on PC, the PC troubleshooting guide may be able to help.
  • “Unable to get inventory” error appears when opening a Supply Drop.
  • Supply Drop items aren’t shown when box is opened, but they’re still delivered to the player’s inventory.
  • Prestige Unlock Token did not come with Multiplayer Upgrade bonus.

Xbox One

  • Some users have not received content redeemed via digital codes.

While this list is fairly comprehensive, it doesn’t cover all bugs experienced by Call Of Duty: WWII players over its opening weekend. In addition to the above mentioned problems, recent frustrations also include disconnects from servers after matches, and PC graphics settings failing to save each time the game is booted. The chaos of having to disable Headquarters has died down for the most part, but there’s no hiding that the multiplayer suite for this brand-new game feels more than a little broken.

The good news is, as long as these issues are truly “under investigation” by Activision QA staff, they should be addressed fairly soon via a full content update or an over-the-air patch. Having to wait isn’t all that helpful for those trying to get the most from the game today, but there is a promise for a more stable future.

Fixes are a must considering just how popular Call Of Duty: WWII has become since the game launched this past Friday. In just a few days on the market, the game was able to earn $500 million, double the post-launch revenue of last year’s Infinite Warfare. With record-setting concurrents across all platforms, it’s obvious there are lots of folks who want to play. We just hope that large audience isn’t too turned off by these bugs.

Call Of Duty: WWII is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
