Boom Beach Update Gets No Complaints, But Supercell Releases Another Minor Tweak To Clash Of Clans Supercell

The most recent Boom Beach update was greeted with great fanfare by the Boom Beach community, but Supercell seems to keep striking out with Clash of Clans. Supercell released yet another minor tweak to Clash of Clans earlier this week, in an attempt to fix some of the issues the Clash of Clans community has been complaining about since the Clash of Clans March update.

The Boom Beach March update brought with it Headquarters level 22, as well as a new level for the Armory that brought upgrades for Troops and Gunboats. The update also implemented player ranks with daily rewards, Statue Storage for unplaced statues, and Supply Chests, which can be earned once every 24 hours.

The Clash of Clans update , which added a Dark Elixir troop called Bowlers as well as new levels for Inferno Towers, Mortars, Hog Riders, Valkyries and Goblins, was not well received. Players disliked the new war matching systems, and were still upset over the core issues and problems still present in the new system.

This latest tweak to Clash of Clans changed the graphics of the matchmaking system and some of the air defense building units. In contrast, Boom Beach players got to have another Megacrab and Dr. T in-game event bundled with their update.

In a post on the Boom Beach subreddit, one redditor explained why they prefered Boom Beach over Clash of Clans, saying, “I’ve started playing Clash of Clans (my first Super Cell game ever) almost 2 years . . . I still play the game, but fun is somewhere else. I used to really enjoy it at TH 6, 7, 8.. till it gets you at that "now it's gems or slooooow" level. Enough of it,” /u/General_Guisan said . “Boom Beach, on the other hand, has a much harder "entry". Pushing VPs too much early can get you into trouble, but it can be fixed by the player once he notices it, and eventually you'll come out fine.”

The top rated comment in the post agreed with /u/General_Guisan, calling it 90 percent relatable.
