There’s only one week left until Batman: The Telltale Series glides onto PC, consoles and mobile platforms, giving fans a chance to dive into Telltale Games’ first examination of the DC universe. And the latest word from the studio suggests it’ll be easier than ever for you and your friends to experience its latest episodic adventure, courtesy of new Crowd Play features found in the launch build of Batman: The Telltale Series .

Presumably inspired by the many times Telltale has elected to host group viewings of its previous episodic adventures, Batman: The Telltale Series will actually include two options for those planning to complete the game with one or more friends. The new features were announced at San Diego Comic-Con, where they were also put on display for those lucky enough to be in the first group of fans to see the series' first episode in its entirety.

First, there’s Complete Control. As the name implies, player one retains complete control of the decision making process, receiving input from the rest of the group via a voting system that lets the host know which answer the majority of the group prefers. Alternately, players can also elect to take part in Majority Rules mode, which is pretty explanatory. Everyone gets a vote and dialogue choice that receives the most support is automatically selected by the computer.
