ARK: Survival Evolved v757 has just released on Xbox One , and it offers content parity between the PC version’s last two major updates. As the game nears its final release date, bug fixes and small visual touches have become a primary focus.

The full patch notes are tremendously long because they encapsulate everything in PC v259 and v260, so we’ve created our own hybrid recap to relay only the most important info. If you want to see everything, click the respective links below.

Current Version: v757

  • Admin command menu now must be activated by pressing LB+RB+X+Y simultaneously on the Pause Menu
  • If you would like to play The Center map without advancing through The Island, launch the Island and then open the command menu. Type in cheat playercommand Ascend1. Once finished you'll be able to load The Center as normal.
  • PC Equivalent up to and including v259 and v260

New Feature Highlights Include

  • New Item: Tek Tapejara Saddle
  • New Skill: Crafting Skill - Replaces Crafting speed. Crafting Skill increases crafted item quality by 33 percent for 100 points into Crafting Skill. The item then displays your name and your tribe name and indicates what percent bonus you received when crafting.
  • New Feature: Corpse Locator! Upon death, a beam of light shoots into the sky to help the player locate where they died. Enabled on Official Servers by default. Add bUseCorpseLocator=true to your Game.ini for server use.
  • New Host Option: Disable Structure Placement Collision Unofficial Servers and single-players can enable this feature to allow them to place structures that clip into terrain. Add bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=true to your Game.ini for server use.
  • New Host Option: Use Singleplayer Settings! When enabled, this edits all game settings to be more balanced for an individual player experience. Add bUseSingleplayerSettings=true to your Game.ini for server use.
  • New Host Option: Fast Decay! Enable this option for a fixed constant decay period for "Fast Decay" structures (such as pillars or lone foundations). Add FastDecayInterval (default is 43200) to your Game.ini for server use.
  • New kill, death, speech, and talking icons added.
  • New Saber Model: The Saber also has increased hide and pelt harvesting capability and reduced fall damage.
  • New Item: Tek Trough - Powered by the Tek Generator, this trough refrigerates food and keeps it fresh longer.
  • New host option ?bAllowPlatformSaddleMultiFloors=true (Game.ini) / Allow Multiple Platform Floors.
  • New host options SupplyCrateLootQualityMultiplier and FishingLootQualityMultiplier (from 1 to 5).
  • New host option to allow unlimited respecs. ?bAllowUnlimitedRespecs=true
  • New host option to disable respawn animation. ?PreventSpawnAnimations=true
  • CraftingSkillBonusMultiplier is now properly shown in the host menu.

Beyond this fairly small assortment of fresh additions that won’t necessarily matter to all players, there are probably more than 100 small bug fixes related to gameplay, sound, animation and more. No single adjustment could truly be classified as earth-shattering, but, on the whole, there are several aspects of this update that survivors will likely notice.

For those still experiencing technical hitches with the patch, a smaller round of fixes is anticipated to arrive sometime around July 3.

Still curiously absent from today’s patch is the final Griffin Dino and the sponsored modded map called Ragnarok. That content came to PC during the week of E3 , but it’s apparently taking its sweet time coming to consoles. Speaking of “taking it’s sweet time,” the mirroring bug fix update for PS4 still doesn’t have a specific release date. It’s scheduled to debut sometime during the week of July 3.

ARK: Survival Evolved is available now in early access on PC, Xbox One, PS4, OS X and Linux. The game officially releases on those platforms Aug. 8.
