Ariana Grande will be joining the cast of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius in her persona of the Dangerous Woman, or DW. Check out the video below, which offers a sneak peek at the fully orchestrated, Square Enix-ified remix of her song “Touch It”:

Ariana Grande will also be available as a playable character during a special event, with more details expected to be revealed in the middle of January.

Little pixel DW is modeled off of Ariana’s Dangerous Woman album cover and features the singer’s trademark long honeyed locks, as well as the rabbit-eared black costume.

“It had to get very exciting,” said producer Nick Wood, who was responsible for creating the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius remix of “Touch It.” “It had to get dynamic, it has to get epic. So we’ve hired a 52-piece orchestra, we’ve programmed some amazing percussion drums, synths, electronics, we’ve done a whole hybrid combination of sounds that I think takes the listener on a very interesting journey. I certainly don’t think you’ve heard anything like this from Ariana Grande before and I think Final Fantasy fans will be very happy to hear something new in this game.”

The Final Fantasy series has a long history of partnering with famous brands like Louis Vuitton and famous artists like Florence and the Machine, as well as a long flirtation with pop stars like Gackt (allegedly the model for more than one Final Fantasy hero) and the entire concept of idols (the criminally-underrated Final Fantasy X-2 ). Ariana’s inclusion in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius brings a whole new cadre of fans over to the mobile game, only this time, it’s a face Western fans will know too. It’s a smart move to keep Square-Enix’s newest Final Fantasy mobile game alive ( RIP Justice Monsters V ) and looks to be an adorable special event, too.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has reached its one year anniversary in Japan, while its global version has seen over 9 million downloads in six months. To celebrate this milestone, players will receive a significant boost in daily log-in bonuses for a limited time.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is available now as a free-to-play app (with in-app purchases) through the App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon App store.
